On my 1st week of my new hybrid program and 3rd squat day in a 4 days and actually felt good. I totally screwed up my numbers and did 35 pounds more then I was supposed to until my last set which is the right number this is 480x4. Only 2nd full work out back to being able to low bar squat, and also squatting with out a box after 10ish weeks because of my knee. I moved out my stance to take some pressure of my knee and moved the bar up my back some to take pressure off my joints. So considering I'm getting use to Alot of things all at once after being out the squat game for awhile I'm really happy with this 585 especially for hitting legs for the 3rd time this week. I'm definitely stupid for still going for a max on squats. But I've been planning on maxing on all my lifts on this week for 3 months now and put alot of time and effort into it. And I'm extremely hard headed an motivated when I have something in my head. So I decided to do what I can do because of my knee which is box squats. So that's what i did. Gave 600 a go an got it, I know I could of deff did more especially just regular squatting I was really wanting 610-615 on regular squats an was confident but just had to go with what life dealt me. Pretty happy with this considering have a bum knee and lost alot of confidence and strength. After my max bench day this week I'll go into full blown recovery time. And focus on alot of upper body and also slimming down and getting away from low reps for a bit and build up volume for a few months. #brickbybrick #neversaydie #grind #recovery

Tried out wide grip bench today for the first time really ever and I went way better then I ever imaged hit a bunch of see of 5s and 3s paused with 315-335 feet up. Considering I moved my grip out a solid 3 fingers each side and hit weights that I normally do with out training anything wide grip is awesome.
