If you are an avid celery juicer, you don’t need me to tell you that celery juice won’t always taste the same... . What is gout, really?... . If everything were working right in the medical field, here’s what you’d hear at the doctor’s office: . “Looks like you’ve got a liver condition. It appears that you have crystals in your joints formed from large accumulations of uric acid. Crystals tell us that the liver isn’t filtering properly and the kidneys are paying the price. When the blood becomes thick and filled with an overflow of poisons from a dysfunctional liver for far too long, it carries a poisonous load—that is, it’s dirty blood. As a result, waste can settle in different areas of your body. The joints are one such place because they are naturally places of lower circulation. Your joint problem is really a liver problem.” . This is the last batch of cucumbers from my balcony garden... Along with the plethora of raw fruits and veggies which I consume daily (which is hydrating )...I also consume about 1.5-2 litres of lemon water, 1 litre of celery juice, 2 litres of fruit smoothies and 1-2 litres of my herb-infused water, DAILY! I am a huge supporter of adding value to my filtered water—most of you know by now that I don’t drink plain filtered water without squeezing fresh lemon into it (at the very least )... . One of the many aspects I absolutely love about growing microgreens at home—like sunflower sprouts (high in amino acids, calcium, magnesium, iron and more ) The nutrients in the sprouts are more easily digested than in the seeds themselves and there’s no need to add additional soil amendments when growing microgreens. The nutrients required by the sprout are already residing in the seed itself... . I’m sure there are various ways of sprouting sunflower seeds... but what I find tremendously effective—is to soak the sunflower seeds in filtered water for 24-36 hours before nestling them in an 8”-10” pot filled with Miracle Grow (it’s the soil which I plant all of my seeds in ). .
