Happy Monday guys 💕 What are you working on this week? I reallllllllly need to get better about stretching!! I've been going to the chiropractor because my back has been in so much pain, and he said before he sends me for an MRI he wants me to work on stretching and see if that helps at all. My hips have been acting up too, almost like a catching feeling. I definitely need to work on hip stretches. So yeah, I have to get up in the morning and say "I can do this." You have to be your own cheerleader. Of course it's important to have other people that support you too, but when things are hard (like having to deal with injuries ), you have to be able to cheer yourself on. Or else it'll be so easy to give up. And it's so important not to give up. Don't give up on yourself. Don't give up on your body. Even with all of my injuries, my body needs exercise. Your body needs exercise. I can do this. Be stubborn about your goals but flexible about your methods... ⁣ I’ve always known that I want to make people happy… to help others in some way without compromising my own joy⁣ ⁣ I’ve ALSO always felt like everyone somehow just knew exactly what their goals were and exactly how they would realize them and, of course, they never struggle with where they’re at in life- because, reality, right?⁣ ⁣ WRONG. If you have a perception that I know what I’m doing or that my road to get from A to B has always been linear, you’d be mistaken⁣ ⁣ The problem though is that everyone seems to have false beliefs about people they don’t know well enough to ask. This results in no one sharing the vulnerable side that could potentially help us feel reassured in our own personal journey, detours and all.⁣ ⁣ My path has been long and nonsensical at times. It has twists and turns that would stump even the most astute observer⁣ ⁣ For me, it’s teaching that brings the most joy while also sparking happiness in others. Happy Monday! ⭐️ Head pain is still lingering but hasn’t amounted to anything yet 🤞🏻. Came in from work and instead of feeling sorry for myself, I got in my pjs and did some more basic beginner stretches. Trying to be more kind to my body because it’s carrying me well at the moment. I am feeling more positive about the pain, knowing that I am actively trying to lean into it.
