SO, what do I do then ?? . I start my day by drinking lemon water (about 16oz ) then 30 minutes later, I consume PLAIN celery juice (24-32 oz daily ) on an empty stomach (I do this for the mineral salts which the herb celery provides my body )... . I may not have had 3 hours to enjoy a round of golf—but instead, I found 30 minutes to go and hit a bucket of balls... a very reasonable compromise in effort to enjoy a little “me time”💁🏻‍♀️ ‘SELF-CARE’ is such an integral part of my life... No matter how busy life gets, I never skip out on “me time”. . To be honest— I didn’t always have this mindset. In fact, I used to be an epic-fail when it came to carving out time for myself! . I got so caught up in making everyone else, and everything else a priority in my life— that I ended up neglecting myself in the process (and this behaviour simply did not serve me ). . While there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with making other people in your life and other things in your life a priority—you can’t forget about yourself in the process. . We live on Planet Stress (a.k.a Earth ) If you don’t practice self-care in this crazy world we live in—-how far do you think you will be able to make it through this life and genuinely be in a joyful, blissful state-of-being? Ask yourself— Are you in a joyful blissful state in your life right now?? If you answered “No”, ask yourself if you regularly practice self-care—-If you answered “no”... perhaps it’s time to make some adjustments in your life... . You are in control of your own life... Let me share a little valuable life lesson with you— . If there was one thing I didn’t have very much experience with—it was gardening. Momma Smiles always had the green thumb in the family...but this wasn’t a “genetic” trait that she passed along to me... . Now, if I don’t have a green thumb—how on earth could I imagine turning my concrete balcony into a thriving garden..? 🤔 . Well, It’s simple.... and here are my words of wisdom— If you can visualize, you can conceptualize!! . I never actually needed a green thumb to build a garden on my balcony—all I needed was a vision...a vision of what I wanted my concrete garden to look like... . Once I had my vision, I shared it with Momma Smiles—- and she shared some valuable advices with me (since she’s the one with the green thumb ) . You know, just because I wasn’t experienced in gardening—didn’t mean that I was going to let that one little detail shatter my vision... . It took time, effort, patience and a lot of creativity on my part...but I never gave up on my vision— . And, here’s the take-away that I would like to leave with you... . ALWAYS pursue your visions/dreams—no matter how big or how small they are...Because when you give up on your visions/dreams—you’re really just giving up on yourself... and this is certainly not a progressive mindset which promotes good health and longevity. . Protein = FAT 💯 We are so entrenched in the whole “protein myth” that we don’t even stop to think of the detrimental effects which a high fat diet have on the body—or the brain. Since the “oxalate fear” is generally experienced by those individuals who have suffered with kidney stones and gallstones... Cranberries are one of the ultimate foods for reversing gallbladder disease. If you’re dealing with gallstones, there’s nothing more powerful for dissolving them. Cranberries are also one of the most powerful liver cleansers on earth, and they’re extremely helpful when you’re trying to pass kidney stones with ease... . Tangerines help dissolve kidney stones and gallstones... . Kidney stones are created from excess protein in the diet, and even too much calcium... . When the liver is working well, the body has a built-in feature to prevent gallstones, and that’s bile. One of bile’s jobs when it’s strong is to disperse bilirubin, watering it down. In actuality, it’s not the protein in foods that your liver requires in order to create the healthy proteins it uses. That’s right, it’s the liver that is responsible for producing the types of proteins your body can recognize. This is one of the liver’s undiscovered chemical functions... . The misrepresentation of the place of protein in our diets first appeared in the 1930s. Protein quickly became a buzzword in the food industry as a tactic to direct our food purchase choices to where industry wanted us to spend our money. Unfortunately, like so many of the worst aspects of industry and our culture, this protein obsession was all about making money, not about supporting your health or the health of your loved ones. If industry really had your best interests in mind, a tremendous amount of money would have been thrown into a worldwide campaign to encourage people to eat many more fruits, leafy greens, and vegetables and to choose food items based on their vitamin, mineral, and antioxidant value. I am a woman dedicated towards living a life which will take me to see my 100th birthday (minimally ). I love not having to leave my place to exercise(except for beach walking of course ) atm im inspired by @the_smile_enthusiast who does #smileaerobics on you tube. Bouncing on the stability ball- i also add in gentle lymphasising/rebounding and hold the weights at intervals. I've had my lymphasiser since 1997!! Moving your lymphatic circulation is paramount for good health AND great skin, it gets everything moving for the body to flush out toxic waste. @the_smile_enthusiast is so inspiring so I've got tea to drink throughout and my rosewater mist for the face👌🏼😁 tea today is liquorice root & red clover. I also use this time to do my facial exercises, and i lie backwards over the ball to get fresh blood towards my face, to stretch out the back & relax for a moment- i feel like im doing something really affirming,which feels great- and yes i keep a smile on my face while im doing it!😁😁😁✌

Having dinner parties at home is so much fun for me... I love creating my own personal restaurant at home... I can trust eating the food because I know exactly what I’m eating!! When I used to eat out ... It was hard to avoid eating certain ingredients because most times, the “nasty ingredients” are hidden somewhere inside.... Then there was the feeling of being heavy, or bloated or tired and foggy after eating. Sometimes I even experienced headaches after certain foods —or crazy gas which would seem to last forever!! Having awareness of ‘self’—and listening to your body when you put food in your mouth is key. Always be aware how it reacts—because reactions to food, always have an underlying reason behind it... the body will always send you signals when something is going on in your body that it needs to draw your attention to. Bottom line, for me, I like to control the food which goes into my body, because it’s MY body, and I like to look after it as best as I know how!! I only have one life to live, and one body to live it in... and THIS is how I’m going to make it the distance, and live to see 100+ years old.... I know it’s not everyone’s goal or passion to live to see 100.... but if you want to live to be a future centurion, and live to see 100— like I do—stick with me kids, we’re going places💯🙌🏼✌🏼👍🏼😬✨💚 . . “The protein myth has led us to a great deal of fear about how much protein our bodies really need. I would like to introduce everyone to fruit broth! Your zero waste solution for all of your fruit scraps! Of course, this broth can only be enjoyed by those of you who actually eat fruit😉.... But I wanted to share what I do with my fruit scraps. Much like I save my vegetable scraps and pulp, and turn it into a delicious healing broth... I do the exact same thing with my fruit scraps.... only I find a tremendous amount MORE with what I am able to do with my fruit broth once it’s finished! (wash the outside skins of your fruit, simmer scraps on low heat 1.5-2 hours, covered, Then strain and enjoy ) 🍓 There’s no specific fruit that goes into this broth... The magic to this broth happens according to the variety of fruits which you COMSUME on a regular basis! 👍🏼🍋🥝🍍🍑🍌🍎🍊 What can you do with fruit broth, you ask? I DON’T eat “PROTEIN”—per-say... not in the fat sense; which comes from lean meats, dairy, eggs etc. My amino acids come from fruits and vegetables (plus a healthy liver actually makes the necessary protein which the body needs— when you consume the right foods ) ...and I DON’T LIFT WEIGHTS at the gym (because it’s a lot of work and strain on the body, and frankly, I don’t find value in activities that strain my body or that don’t put a smile on my face ).... So, how the F do I have such lean muscle mass—if I don’t eat protein or lift weights?? If you’re ready to hear the truth, keep reading... Here’s what I do—- I start my day by drinking PLAIN celery juice every morning (24-32 oz daily ) on an empty stomach (I do this for the mineral salts which the herb celery provides ). PLUS I literally consume 20-25 lbs of a combination of PLAIN steamed potatoes and sweet potatoes weekly, along with 2-3 pounds of leafy greens weekly. I also consume 6-8 pounds of winter squash weekly.... and here’s the clincher... I consume 18-20 lbs of FRUITS weekly..... DON’T HAVE FRUIT FEAR! It’s no surprise by now —- but I love my pressure cooker!! I understand how difficult it can be growing up in the world today... Social media puts so much pressure on our younger generation... making them think like they are not good enough because they don’t fit into certain socially accepted cookie cutters... but because we as human beings naturally just want to feel accepted—like we belong somewhere...we tend to slowly begin a shift which flows into the direction of “I want to be like everyone else”—- instead of being true to the beautiful soul who they really are. 😇 Although the internet did not exist when I was in school... there was still that same pressure which existed—- if you didn’t fit within a certain cookie cutter of a certain social circle— you were just never excepted unless you TRIED REAL HARD to make yourself fit in! ...That was the bottom line! I’m here today to tell you, that one of the most liberating feelings in the world, is WHEN YOU CAN BE YOUR TRUE AUTHENTIC SELF and never have to worry about what anyone else is doing or what anyone else thinks. If you focus more on who YOU are as a human being, and less on how OTHER people are as human beings ...you will be one step closer to feeling a sense of freedom— that you will never be burdened with the job of having to try SSSOOOOO hard to be like someone else—-because at the end of the day, it’s SO MUCH EASIER to just be YOU!
