Add coconut flour and mix. 3. Place dough on parchment lined baking sheet in balls of 1 tbsp each (should make 12-15 ). Flatten. 4. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges begin to brown lightly. Let cool 5 minutes, enjoy! . . Macros: Serving size is 1 cookie. Recipe makes 12 servings. Calories: 80 Fat: 7.5g Protein: 2g Net carbs: 1.2g Fiber: 3g . . I ate so much last night (all keto ) but I deff go over my calories and I get really down on myself for sure. We all have little hiccups and have areas where we need to improve but the MOST IMPORTANT part I keep trying to remind myself is that I am not living to diet BUT I don’t want to be one of those people who downplay how important your health is. Telling someone that they are beautiful at any size, or embrace “who you really are” is bullshit. Being overweight IS unhealthy. Of COURSE you are still beautiful, but accepting being overweight by making excuses for it is what I did for YEARS and that is why it took me so long to make the necessary changes. You can be gorgeous af but still should take care of yourself, the best you can in any aspect of your life. Not just weight loss. ♥️ finding the balance for what is best for you mentally is so important. After so much weight loss you can become scared you’re scared of gaining it all back, or slipping up. It’s a very harsh reality but it’ll tear you apart. 🍗 G A R L I C P A R M W A N G S 🍗⁣ ⁣ One of the many recipes we started using with our air fryer. We highly recommend this recipe for those that have an air fryer because it does the job quickly and effortlessly. Crispy fried wings every time! ⁣ (1 dozen )⁣ Ingredients⁣ 1/2 cup salted butter⁣ 3 cloves garlic minced⁣ 1Tbsp olive oil⁣ 1/2 -1 tsp red pepper flakes OR garlic chili pepper oil (recipe in highlights ) 1 tsp Oregano ⁣ 1 tsp Parsley⁣ 2 tsp onion powder for chicken ⁣ Light Salt for chicken ⁣ 1/4 cup Parmesan ⁣ ⁣ Instructions ⁣ Air fry wings (from frozen ) on 380 for 25 minutes. ⁣ At 13 minutes, sprinkle w/onion powder, light salt, and flip. ⁣ When the time is up, Increase temp to 400 for 5 minutes or until wings reach desired crisp. Set aside or leave in air fryer with it turned off! ⁣ On medium heat, melt butter and olive oil ⁣in a pan. Add garlic, chili pepper flakes and cook on low for 2-3 minutes or until garlic is fully cooked (do not let it BROWN )⁣ Add oregano & parsley. Stir to incorporate all ingredients ⁣ Transfer sauce to a bowl and Toss wings inside. ⁣ Sprinkle with Parmesan before serving. Note: No air fryer, no problem. Lay these wings (thawed ) on a cookie sheet above a sheet pan and bake 375 for one hour or until crisp! . . . . . 💥Serving up a bowl of deliciousness for lunch today. . Y’all have seen me post this a million times but I love this “Antipasto veggie salad” so much and there is a million ways to change it up. This is good for anyone and great for Summer parties. Toddler approved as well🎉 . . Today it’s made with raw cauliflower, raw broccoli, sliced spicy salami nuggets, sliced green olives and pimentos, sliced sharp cheddar cubes and Olive Garden Italian dressing ( a little goes a long way ) add everything to a bowl. First of all - I felt uncomfortable sharing this journey so I left my face off my profile pic because I hadn’t added ANY IRL friends. I didn’t want to pop up in anyone’s “suggested friends”. Then as I’ve lost weight and people ask me how I’ve invited one here and one there. Not sure why I felt I needed to hide... but I’m feeling now like that was silly and I should be proud of myself no matter what. 43 lbs is a huge change in my appearance, it’s not like I can fool anyone who knows me into thinking I didn’t struggle with my weight my whole adult life. . I’m excited that so many friends have joined me and made positive changes for themselves so if I can inspire ANYONE I want that opportunity. . Regarding the name change... I started with a bag of broccoli slaw that I dressed with a tahini dressing. To make the dressing, I used 2 tablespoons tahini, juice from 1/2 lemon, sea salt, and 1 tsp freshly minced garlic. Mix everything together, then taste. You’ll have to add more tahini/lemon/salt based on your preference if you’d like. Then just toss with your broccoli slaw.⁠ .⁠ 3.Once I was ready to make the lamb, I got a pan ready on medium heat, tossed in 1 tablespoon of oil, and put the lamb in for about 5 minutes per side. These take about 10-15 minutes. Cook until they are no longer pink. Alternatively, you can grill these. Extra bonus points x 1000 if you use a charcoal grill. I didnt have time today.⁠ .⁠ 4.Then I started plating everything. I put the lamb on top of the broccoli slaw, added 1 sliced Persian cucumbers, some cherry tomatoes, and some herbs. Keto pumpkin pie mug cake Ingredients ¼ cup (60mL ) heavy whipping cream 4 tbsp (48g ) classic monk fruit sweetener, divided 4 eggs ½ cup (122g ) pumpkin puree ½ tsp pure vanilla extract ¼ cup + 1 tbsp (35g ) coconut flour 1 tsp cream of tartar ¾ tsp cinnamon, divided ½ tsp baking soda ¼ tsp ground allspice ¼ tsp ground ginger ¼ tsp ground nutmeg ⅛ tsp ground cloves Nonstick cooking spray Instructions To a mixing bowl, add heavy cream and 2 tbsp (24g ) monk fruit sweetener and mix on high with electric mixer until whipped. Cover with lid or plastic wrap and transfer to refrigerator to chill. To a mixing bowl, add eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract and, using an electric mixer, mix together until smooth and ingredients are fully incorporated. Add coconut flour, remaining 2 tbsp (24g ) monk fruit sweetener, cream of tartar, ½ tsp cinnamon, baking soda, allspice, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves and mix again to combine all ingredients. Coat inside of coffee mugs with nonstick cooking spray. Spoon ¼ of pumpkin mixture (~100g of mixture per mug ) into each coffee mug and microwave one-by-one until cakes are cooked throughout, about 2 minutes. I went shopping for shorts last night because most of mine are falling off me and we are headed into a week of camping. The size I thought I needed was sold out and they had the size I was replacing or a size smaller than what I “needed”. So I tried the smaller ones on and was floored when I could get them over my hips and let alone do them up! I can’t believe what this lifestyle has done for me. It feels like I was stuck at 166 FOREVER. These last 6 pounds have definitely been the hardest. Mostly because I haven’t been consistent in tracking macros and not over eating. My body has been in an out of ketosis because I will justify things with “oh it’s still keto” but it would put me over and you don’t get results that way. This egg fast was extremely successful in me ditching water weight and getting back into full ketosis.
