Day 1 of detox is starting strong. 👊🏻 . . I decided since we have had so much sickness on our house the past few weeks I would jump in and do one this week and then again with my ladies on the 9th. #germsbegone #byebyeinflammation I love having a plan that lays everything out, a foods list, recipes, knowing exactly what to eat and when it eat it. It keeps me from overthinking it and makes it much easier to stick with. And the fact that we get to EAT whole, real foods! 🙌🏻 . . I have done several detoxes and this is by far the healthiest, easiest and safest way to kickstart my health and release all the toxins in a sustainable way. . . No, I’m seriously asking. I’m putting together the presentation for how healthy beef is for humans and the environment and realized there’s a bigger story here with the non-ruminant animals (mainly chicken and pork ) I know a lot of us don’t consume a lot of chicken or pork because we know the superior nutrient value and taste of beef, lamb, bison, etc. I also don’t prefer it because I think there are problems with our conventional methods of raising these animals. Do animal rights people have some good points here, or is it actually pretty humane and efficient? I’ve filmed at some great farms doing pasture raised pork and chicken really well, but it’s obvious this is not how it’s always done. Please send me any info on this and/or people I can talk to. I realized all the great animal ag experts in our community are base around cattle.

Friends, we have to share. After late, fun night out, no chance of getting up early to grocery shop. I've been craving french toast so I made an egg loaf.
