Wasn’t my besó but it’s done!!! A los of learnings from this marathon, a new route (i like it btw ) a lot of people and weather on last k’s was too hot, but o hace to say that I enjoy this marathon, i did not feel any cramp till km 42 😅😅😅. I’m happy to complete my fourth marathon especially because this year I could see my wife on kM40 it’s the most amazing feeling 💓💓. Sometimes you want some gluten-full, GMO, deep fried (with carcinogenic oil ) onion crunchies with your organic spinach, brain boosting avocado, paleo dressing, nitrate/nitrite-free antibiotic/hormone/steroid free chicken sausage salad. Sometimes! But most of the time, we do strive to eat clean, whole, nutrient dense foods. Why? For quality of life! It's typically not the quantity of your life to be concerned about, but how you will live out your days. All of August I've used this page to bring awareness and go #BackToTheBasics on nutrition education. This week is the last week of August and I'll be sharing about fats. Fats got such bad name back in the 1990's and the second decade of 2000's fats made a comeback. Now it's all I use "healthy" oils-- meanwhile these same "healthy" oils were demonized before. Key sign of fad... when something becomes popular that was once ordinary. My motto once I became a nutrition coach was simply, "Eat the Food." I'll continue to stay it. Just eat the food. Great for emergencies when we need to think fast and act quickly. But we are NOT designed to stay in fight or flight mode for continued periods of time.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 👉🏻”The consistent and ongoing increase in heart rate, and the elevated levels of stress hormones and of blood pressure, can take a toll on the body. COMPARISON 🤯 . . 💫How many of you have spent your Sunday doing the washing while everyone on Instagram has been out having fun and you can’t help but compare? . 💫 Instagram can be a really positive place to connect with like-minded people but as a new mum the debates about sleep-training and images of post baby body’s and expensive holidays can be seriously overwhelming and you get sucked into comparing your life to others. . 💫 As someone who’s used to being organised and enjoys being busy, seeing pictures of people achieving their goals 3 days postpartum while I felt like I spent my entire day on the couch eating biscuits wasn’t fun. . . 💫 I’ve written a blog post about overcoming this comparison hangover and hopefully it will resonate with you mums out there who are battling some school holiday blues. . 💫 Link in Bio

It’s been one of the most fun and fit weekends for me personally. I’ve stepped out of my bubble and joined some amazing free fitness events around town and it has been truly amazing. Я долгое время не мог накачать плечи. Тренировал их как и всё остальное в диапазоне 5-15 повторений. Делал тяжёлые жимы и махи. Последние кстати я терпеть не могу. Это наверное самое тяжёлое упражнение для меня. Я от них задыхаюсь почему то. По силе более менее, но объемов небыло. А учитывая что у меня покатые плечи, смотрелось это очень не очень 😏 и только за последние пару лет они наконец начали активно расти. Я понял, что в плечах у меня не тот тип мышц, что в груди или бицепсе. Они могут расти в объеме только от многоповторки. Причем чем её больше, тем лучше. И чем меньше отдых между подходами, тем тоже лучше. Жжение... Его надо достичь и не отпускать. Это очень тяжело физически. Но по другому они не растут. Так вот... Ищите то что на вас работает.
