🥳 5 lbs down 🥳 Who else is ready to grind with me?!?! 💪🏾👌🏾 Hey y’all hey! This weekend has been pretty active. That’s not to mention I have managed to track everything I’ve been eating with MFP. The weekends are normally the WEEK END, but I was determined not to mess up my good doings. Lunch was chicken salad on honey wheat bread. Lately me being back at my starting number from 3 years ago have been hitting me hard. So since it’s been bothering me so much last week I decided to do something about it and get back on track with EVERYTHING and not just eating or just working out. My mindset only works when I have everything aligned at the same time. I’ve lost 5.2 lbs this last week and I plan to drop another 5 this week. Eh recibido muchos mensajes donde siempre me preguntan : que hacer para que las piernas crezcan? Que ejercicios realizar ? Como trabajarlas ? Si no ves un aumento en tus piernas es porque estás cometiendo estos errores: - ❌Siempre haces los mismos ejercicios. ❌Siempre las trabajas en máquinas con asistencia. ❌Te limitas con el peso 😒. ❌No realizas el movimiento a rango completo. ❌Las entrenas 1 vez por semana 🥴. - Debes de tener en cuenta que estás trabajando el músculo más grande de tu cuerpo, el cual requiere una mayor demanda al momento de entrenarlas, siempre que hagas piernas debes de sacarlas de la zona de confort, realizar ejercicios libres para maximizar una mayor tensión (Sentadillas con barras y mancuernas, Lunges, Deadlift, entre otros ). Trabajarlas al menos 2 veces por semana con su debido descanso. - Acá les dejo una rutina de piernas extremadamente buena pero no muy divertida 😅 ya que si la hacen al pie, se acordarán de mi al menos los próximos 2 días heheheh. “Principles of leading a healthier lifestyle” • Many of my clients, friends & family quite often bring up that health & fitness seems complicated which I fully understand. • There is so much out there now that does seem complicated especially with having so many platforms for people to get their ideas across. I personally think that are many people trying to put information out there just to be different for more engagements. • On the other hand, please know there are so many good podcasts, articles, & content out there that are amazing and very useful. • What I’m about to write is of course my opinion on the principles of leading a healthier lifestyle and there is no right or wrong way • Training 🏋🏻‍♂️ - 3 intense sessions a week should see you improvement, a mixture of training which may involve strength & cardio 🏊🏻‍♂️ as an example. Or even move more. Walk to work or on your lunch break, get those steps up. • Nutrition 🥘 - Keep it clean and control your portions. If we over eat over a long period of time this can lead to weight gain. Eat plenty of fruit & veg 🥗Keep your proteins lean 🐟 a small portion of healthy fats 🥑 and control the size of carbohydrates 🍝 on your plate (not to cut them out completely for a quick fix ). • Recovery 🛏 - Better recovery can lead to better performance, not just in the gym but in day to day life. Aim for 7-9 hours of good quality sleep • Hydration 💦- I personally aim for 2.5 litres of water a day. Purchase a water bottle for a constant reminder • The above are some basics. Start with these slowly and see what positive effects it has on your lifestyle 🙌🏻 • Happy Sunday people & have a good week ✌🏻

I did a full body workout yesterday. This last week has been more about consistency than motivation. I feel a little lost this week. After just finishing the challenge and wanting a short break before I start my next workout phase, it’s kind of a limbo week. I’m slowly building up my calories to get back to maintenance and not always be in “diet mode”. In 8 weeks, I lost 3 lbs and some inches. I feel stronger and more confident in the gym. I’ve hit new personal records with most lifts. It’s important to remember that most people won’t start to see changes until 4-6 weeks into a new program. A challenge is a great jumpstart into losing weight or gaining muscle or whatever your goal is, but it should be just that- a start. Today’s a rest/lazy day. I see a nap in my future and that’s about it 😴

We have very little control over others, as they have very little control over us, but we have a lot of control over ourselves.
