Keep an eye out starting next week for a look into a fun new training split I’m gonna get into! I’ve been more intrigued by full body days lately than body part splits so I came up with this 5 day routine: -2 days lifting (which I’ll share and talk more about below ) -1 day intense cardio (can be kettlebells, HIIT, plyo, sprints, metcons, whatever comes up that week ) -1 day of a nice long lower intensity run/bike ride/swim -1 day of animal flow/gymnastics type stuff for bodyweight strength and control -that leaves plenty of room for *rest* and play! . . . So, about those 2 full-body lift days. Here’s how I split them up: . A PUSH upper body heavy lower body accessory B PULL upper body accessory lower body heavy C PUSH upper body accessory lower body heavy D PULL upper body heavy lower body accessory . . That way you’re doing an upper body dominant and lower body dominant each week (but since there’s 4 types of sessions, the rotation will reset every two weeks instead of one week ). The push days will emphasize quads, glutes, chest, shoulders, triceps, and some calves while the pull days will emphasize lats, rear delts, mid-back, biceps, hammies, and more glutes. . Hope that makes sense and hope you try it and like it! There are other that use the full body but not quite in the way the deadlift does. It is an exercises that should be used in almost every persons workout plan unless you are unable to do so for a specific reason. There are many ways to do a deadlift some examples are; stiff legged deadlift, Romanian deadlift, sumo deadlift, and conventional deadlift. Ever wanted to improve your skills? Record yourself 🎦 You can apply this to nearly any skill or ability, it just needs to be something visual. Recording yourself on video allows you to see things you wouldn't otherwise be able to see. You're able to get different angles that you can't get with a mirror. When evaluating the video, you have the advantage of being able to slow down or zoom in on the video. Find out what you're doing wrong and take corrective action. From there it's as simple as "rinse and repeat" keep going until you get to the level you want! Get out there and crush it! 💪 🔥
