This is going to be the last time I get on my soap box about this whole absolute debacle concerning diet clubs, diets, HDE or whatever. Let’s look at this from a complete outside perspective and remove the point of weight loss/health. People have different beliefs concerning religion, but how much of a dick would you be writing aggressive posts that there’s no greater beings and it’s all bullshit according to science - that would make you a dick (I’m not even religious ). Can we also go over ‘science’ and ‘facts’ which as someone who works in clinical research is and always will be full of very blurred lines still. Remember the argument that Pluto was a planet and now it’s not? Pretty sure I recall that being science but things are changing all the time - the universe is changing all the time and no one really has a straight forward answer. You ever taken a paracetamol when you have a headache/pain and it didn’t work... well science has ‘proved’ they work so what’s that about? The human race, the world and the entire frigging universe is far more complex to be picked apart by people on Instagram or a book 😂 chill your beans, get on with your life and stop being offensive and belittling. FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER X Looking for an idea for dinner tonight? Look no further than this chilli and garlic griddled veg - goes with any protein source (tuna steak in the photo ) of your choosing and would go perfectly with rice or baked potatoes 👌 X Take ~100g each baby corn, asparagus, tender stem broccoli and chuck into salted boiling water for 3 minutes, then remove and put into a bowl of ice water. Drain and toss with 1 tsp oil. X Take a griddle pan and crank the heat up high. Let it get smoking hot then griddle the veg for 3-5 minutes until charred. X Add the veg to a large bowl. Chop up a spring onion, 2 cloves of garlic and a red chilli. Add a tbsp of balsamic vinegar, a pinch of salt and pepper and toss with the veggies. Breakfast part 1, this is about 300 calories, I’ll add in a banana and a coffee and it will still only be about 450 calories. I advise for women for each main meal to be 500 calories and then include two snacks into your day of 250 calories to get the recommended daily allowence (RDA ) of 2000 calories per day. Whatever calories you lack in a meal you can make up for in your mornining/afternoon snacks. If you’re looking to loose weight this RDA will work out fine for you. Once you start getting active on top you need to factor in active calories burned known as total daily energy expendaiture (TDEE ). If you drop below 500 of your recommended daily calories per day your body will struggle to lose weight and you are likely to crave processed sugary foods to boost your energy levels, it’s just not clever to rush the process. I will do nutrition consults for anyone who really wants to learn and understand the basics to gain back control. You need to make the time daily to learn, record and follow the process though otherwise it’s pointless. Don’t focus on scales focus on feeling, if it feels right do it, if it feels wrong don’t! El #refeed si lo haces adecuadamente puede traerte grandes beneficios. El refeed es una recarga o realimentacion de carbohidratos en una dieta estricta o baja en carbohidratos, el fin es recargar el glucogeno de los músculos y asi poder perder grasa sin perder masa muscular y en algunos casos hasta ganandola, es una excelente opción ya que al hacer una dieta baja en carbohidratos por Mucho tiempo se puede estar cayendo una tumba metabólica al realentizarse el metabolismo por los bajos niveles de glucogeno al ser gastadas como energía y haciendo que los músculos también se pongan más pequeños. Se debe realizar un refeed o un dia alto en carbohidratos una vez a la semana en una dieta de definicion para recargar esos carbohidratos y asi mismo los niveles de glucogeno para que no se degrade el músculo y no se realentice tanto el metabolismo. Si estás en una dieta de definición de 500 calorías menos de tu requerimiento, puedes el día de refeed aumentar 500 calorías más a ese requerimiento para recargar tu cuerpo con carbohidratos de fuentes limpias y saludables. So for the next 10 days I'm doing something a little different. Based on what is manageable for me this is my calories and macros goals. I'm also aiming for 3-4l water per day (this will include water used in tea and coffee ). . . . Call it damage control or a quick fix or just being sensible, I feel like this is the last push I need to ensure I can go to Berlin feeling happy, healthy and confident. I don't want a bloated and uncomfortable stomach. And I want to enjoy myself without worrying about making that worse. Or gaining a gazillion stone when I return. . . . Reducing calories and changing my macros ensures I'm eating 3 meals plus snacks that are full of goodness and not crap. So after my story this week about 'concerning' 🗣️ conversations while working in the pub on health, this post is a brief of one of them.... . A 55+ lady approaches me at the bar, highly intoxicated and telling me she was having a final blow out weekend before starting a month challenge that involved cutting out; 🍷alcohol, 🍫 chocolate, 🧀 dairy, 🥖 bread (wheat & gluten ), 🍰 cake etc etc etc , basically anything that's enjoyable in life for her and anyone. . Reason for doing this (and paying a HUGE sum of 💰Money for the privilege ) was because she wanted to loose a few pounds and learn to drink a little less 🍺 . WHAT?!?! . After my shock reaction 😲 and asking WHY?? the response shocked me again. . "I feel if I spend a LOT of money on a well promoted product, I will stick to it and it will work" . WHAT?!?! 🤦 . Fruit & a cup of tea for breakfast. I am giving Hunger Directed Eating (HDE ) a go and only eating when hungry and not overeating (sounds simple but I feel like I have lost that by being on Slimming World! ) I eat because I want food not because I am hungry and I keep eating past the feeling of full because it is 'free' or '3 syns' for the meal and I want to make the most of it. Tento vanilkový s kakaovymi bobmi som mala na večeru (už ani neviem kedy presne🙈😅 ) a bol úžasnyyy👌💕 receptik aj s makrami nech sa páči : ☀️ 45g kukuričná muka ☀️ 15g vanilkový protein @bodylab ☀️ 25g pohankova múka ☀️ 90g jablkové pyre @dm_slovensko ☀️ 30g Pure fine oats @theproteinworks (ovsena muka ) ☀️ 40g jemný tvaroh ☀️ 2 bielky vyšľahane na sneh ☀️ 1 čl kypriaci prášok ☀️ štipka soli ☀️ 1 odmerka vanilkového sladidla @frankysbakery alebo ine ☀️ 7g drvené kakaové bôby Zmiešame všetky suché ingrediencie, pridáme zvyšok, ak treba doriedime troškou vody a nakoniec zamiešame sneh a kakaové bôby. Pečieme na 175 stupňov cca 25 min. . HODNOTY na celý cake 571 kcal, 33B 80S 9T. Je len na vás, na vašich cieľoch, potrebnom kalorickom prijme k ich dosiahnutiu, koľko si z neho dáte, ako vám to bude pasovať ☺️ Myslite na to, že najdôležitejšie sú KALÓRIE a BIELKOVINY.
