One mans trash is another mans treasure. I bought this bike when I was 15 years old. It came from one of my grandpas friends in a huge plastic bin with all the parts. I think I spent everyday for a month hanging out with my old man making sure that everything was cleaned up and perfect.
I can’t even begin to express how much fun this past week has been. From hiking around the cascades, long talks in the car, and dancing our asses off at a music festival. Truly thankful for this guy @tannerharvey aka my curly headed brother from another mother. About 6 months ago I figured out that I had a doppelgänger out there and after a lot calls, dms, and FaceTimes it was time for us to meet in real life. As much as social media can be harmful there is so many upsides to it and i can’t begin to express how cool it is to hang out with like minded motivated people 💞
#ad Growing up my brother and I always ate breakfast together before heading off to school. Sharing conversations, showing each other funny videos, even finishing up that last bit of homework. Fast forward a few years and I would never thought that we would be sharing some breakfast early in the morning. High up in the swiss alps, the protein containing @Kashi Go Cereal kept us energized after waking up at the break of dawn to catch the sunrise. Moments like these are one that will never fade in my memory and there definitely won’t be another breakfast view like this. #ad Trailside stops with @cervezapatagonia us . The light began to fall much faster than we anticipated, so we decided to set up camp a few minutes down the trail from here. Hoping that in the morning we would wake up to the hidden peaks covered up by last nights fog. #cervezapatagonia
This past weekend I was able to fully experience #LifeMode and the power of disconnecting to connect. Finding a healthier balance with my digital habits is something that I have always valued whether I am traveling, shooting, or mountain biking. I am super stoked to see what @Palm is doing in an era where everyone is glued to their screen. Yes there are times to lean into tech, but we need to become more aware and value those moments you cannot get back. Here's to a summer with less looking down and more looking forward. #PalmPartner #LiveOutsideTheScreen #ConnectedNotConsumed #LifeMode
Here are a few other selects from the project that was dropped this past week. Wanted to say thank you for all of the positive feedback, and kind works. I’m truly thankful for everyone that was a part of that project @altovisuals @rhoddyjensen that took it to the next level. Growing up I played a lot of team sports and it was cool to see that culture and mindset transfer into photography and videography. It wouldn’t have been the same without an amazing team 💞 Song: @masonrupper - Psycho
Who vibes with this? 🍂 To me this is a really interesting way to break down the creative process, or ways to set the scene. The colors I feel complement each other in each of the frames and it is cool to see the amount of detail in one single location. The fog swept through this valley in Switzerland leaving us with some insane conditions to create. Moving forward I know that I’m going to be creating more and more of these 3 tier posts because I believe it tells more of a story 💞
It’s the one you’ve all been waiting for. Watch it once, twice, three times. My boys over @altovisuals put a lot of work into the production of this master piece and it was amazing to see the amount of creativity and effort that went into each shot. I’m truly thankful to be surrounded by such talented people. It has been quite the journey working on this bike. About 4 months ago I picked up this 1978 Honda CB750 off of craigslist in pretty rough shape. After countless nights working in my grandpas garage, some good laughs and some frustrating moments it is finally complete and ready for some summer riding. Credited below is all of the individuals who made this piece come to life. “Always forward, never back” I heard this quote from a show that I’ve recently been watching and it made me think. This saying could be taking in two directions. The first one meaning that you are trying to avoid a situation that you are in by running away from it. The second one meaning that no matter what happens, you embrace it and learn something from it and move on without hesitation. To me I can see both sides of it. I’ve ran away from problems in the past, but I’ve also spent time reflection on them and trying to learn ways of preventing them in the future. I’m just out here trying to learn as much as I can and keep moving in what I think is the “right” direction. Anyone know the show?

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to explore NYC for the first time. Huge thanks to @flynyon for taking us up in the air for an incredible journey. My friend @rhoddy_jensen shot a lot of the bts work in this video. Also thanks to @laurensteiner and @claairewright for letting us stay. Let me know what you think ❤️🙏🏽 Song: Ghosted by: Tails #NYC #newyorkcity #flynyon #flynyonair #helicopternyc
Finally I’m free! Turned in my last paper this morning after working on it the past few days and I’m excited to say that I will be back in Switzerland next week exploring more places like these. This shot is from last year on an epic trip with @robstrok as we hiked all throughout the Swiss alps. Funny enough I had lugged my laptop through this entire journey as I needed to finish my last paper atop of this crazy hike! Check out my story if you don’t believe me! As for all of you that have messaged me regarding balancing school and photography I will make sure that I get back to you today! Summer 2019 here we come!
As this school year begins to end it’s always amazing to see how much you have grown as an individual and knowledge you have obtained. There are definitely times where I wish I wasn’t in school but the tiny voice at the back of my head tells me that it will all be worth it in the end. It’s been tough trying to juggle photo and video at the same time and it definitely tests my time management skills. There have been too many sleepless nights trying to finish edits along with essays. All I know is that it has been a true test of my work ethic. This is going to be my first summer I get to enjoy without any schoolwork and I’m excited to see where it takes me. If you are struggling in school and need someone to talk to feel free to drop me a DM, and I’d be more than happy to talk with any of you. Please don’t feel afraid to reach out 💞
I know I’ve been a bit distant on here. Currently trying to wrap up my junior year of college and finish strong with my finals. A year and a half ago I was failing classes while trying to both make college and photography work. But now since I’ve switched to an online program it has made this process so much more efficient and I actually enjoy school now. I’m looking forward to a summer filled with more adventures like these and meeting more of you. I want to challenge myself by trying to create more and more YouTube videos for my channel so you get a better understand of who I am since you only get to see bits and pieces of my adventures. One more week and I’ll be back at it but until then enjoy one of my favorite pictures of mount rainier I snagged last year while on a hike with my family : )
