Crescent Lake, Olympic National Park, this time at sunset, April 2019. This was one of the coolest evenings of the trip. I followed a trail to a waterfront camp surrounded by forest, and to my surprise it lead to this view of the mountains.

I decided to jump forward about a month into my trip photos to post something from Canada. Isn’t Canada pretty? Bow River, Banff National Park, May 2019. Happy Canada Day everyone!

Yosemite, Tunnel View, April 2019. This is the first major view you come across after entering from the South Gate. After entering the park, it’s a 45 minute drive north on winding mountain roads until you turn east into the valley, and, this view. Here it is at sunset.

Watching winter and all that’s left. This is my first black and white post in three years. I don’t know, I tend to gravitate towards colour.

“Come home when the streetlights come on” was an expression used around the neighbourhood when I was a kid. Streetlight: a non-conventional clock built into neighbourhoods and some country road intersections. My favourite time of day happens sometime between the streets being lit and the sky losing its vibrant blue.
