Tag a friend . 310 lbs ➡️ 186 lbs . I’ve worked hard for these results. I wish I could say it’s been a piece of cake 🍰 but it hasn’t. These results are due to not giving up regardless of how many times I fall💪 . You guys know I struggle, I fall off the wagon, eat things I shouldn’t, give in to temptation, but no matter what I get back up and give it another try 👏 . I’ve lost a total of 124 lbs though diet and exercise. I’ve had my ups and downs throughout my weight loss journey. I will say that the struggle has been 💯 worth it, but not easy. . It’s not impossible. If I can make this change, trust me, you can too! You need to set your goals, get your mind straight and don’t stop until you’re proud🙌 . "I am no more special than you. I wake up with the same opportunity of trying to be better than yesterday, just like you. Am I size 0? Nope. Am I the most ripped? Nah. Do I have weekends where I fall flat on my face with food and exercises--umm hello lady! I never claim to be a picture perfect fitness page, nor will I ever be. I'm seriously just an average woman who worked hard to lose weight, has daily (some days HOURLY struggles ) and got blessed to share it with people who wanted to tune in. It's funny, this past week I reconnected with someone from grade school and he told me "I still remember riding the bus with you and you got picked on so much but you would always look back at those girls who'd throw gum in your hair and say "ya--well, I'll be something really cool when I get older! I'll help people instead of hurt people like you!" (Ya I was THAT cheesy in grade school. Still am 😁 ) But when he randomly messaged me this week through Facebook he said "and it's so cool to see how you are, but in a way you probably didn't think you would!" This week has been a crazy ride and I'm still holding on, but I've been tossing around the idea of just "taking that leap of faith" and training full time. Online and in person. Opening up my own one on one training facility and still training clients online. - Success stories 😍😘 💪 Introducing by @brittney in.bloom : What a year this has been. I can honestly say that this has been my best and happiest year in 8 years. From dealing with my dad’s cancer and losing him, to a failed engagement, to college struggles due to my grief, gaining over 100 pounds, moving and moving and moving again, major mental and physical health struggles, an uncertain future and a job that made me miserable to getting healthy and living my best life. I wish I had known the difference that would be made in all parts of my life just by putting my health first. I started with that and the rest just fell into place. Chairs were the worst for me. I can’t remember how many I broke. 😞 I would always have to gage weather I could sit on the foldable chairs. It was a tiring task to see if it was stable enough and strong - For a moment, I hope I can convey the chaos I would feel. I’d walk a 100ft and my lower back would give me shooting pain from walking. I would rush to find a seat and only find those that can’t support my weight. I often leaned on walls, sat on street curbs and laid out when no other option was available. I was incapable of living a normal life - I returned to the chair in the before picture this weekend and had a real moment of shock. Grateful I can walk more now and that I don’t have to second guess a chairs capability. - This is a another why for me. Left- 3 years ago, I was only 105lbs (in this picture ) and would eventually drop down to 97lbs. I was battling Stage 4B low grade Serous Ovarian Cancer and I was told that there might not be a cure. This was a month after my major cancer dulking surgery where 5 tumors were removed (one was the size of a beach ball ), 4 blood transfusions, part of my bladder removed, part of my colon and small intestine were removed which caused a temporary ileostomy bag, a full hysterectomy, my gallbladder and spleen removed, and a few lymph nodes were removed. After all of that, I always told myself that I was going to win and I wouldn’t let cancer win. Right- Taken today. I’m 120lbs and have gained 23lbs back in the last 3 years. I still have 10lbs to go to be back to my pre-cancer weight but I’ll get there. I thought I could easily gain back the 33lbs I lost, but after going through hell and back, it’s taken my body a little longer to gain weight. November 13th I’ll be celebrating 2 YEARS of no evidence of disease ! Seeing my body come back after all it has been through, truly makes me cry. I’ve never been so grateful or thankful for this tough little body. - - My point to this long post (sorry😅 ) is that whatever you are facing, you can defeat it. It won’t be easy and trust me, it will be scary, but you got this. No matter how many times you get knocked down, get back up and hit that much harder. 🦋 - 📷 @cheymarie_fit

Raising a daughter is one of the hardest things I think I will ever do in my life. My transformation has been a lot more than just physical the past 23 years. The girl on the left was so excited to be a mother, but had no idea what lied ahead. My kids were definitely the highs in my life for many years, but the lows got pretty low. There were many days & years I thought I was in a living hell I would never escape. Low self-esteem & fear kept me in my place. Nursing school forced me out of it. I had to extend myself to others daily when I was pretty much an introvert at the time. Getting out in the workforce taught me that I could care for myself & kids if I needed to. I learned to believe in myself & found the confidence to change things, and by so doing, found a lot more happiness & peace. 😌 Life isn’t all roses now for me, but the girl on the right has learned when we take care of ourselves physically, emotionally, spiritually and make sure we are in healthy relationships, wonders can take place. I dreaded getting older throughout my life, but not anymore. I love that I know my worth & am surrounded by the most amazing people. Know YOUR worth! Love yourself! Take care of yourself! First pic was taken in February, middle pic taken in May, and third pic was taken today! So happy to see my legs have finally leaned out more because that’s definitely a tough area for me. I didn’t change up anything in my routine to make my legs lean out, just stuck to the plan and KEPT PATIENT and slowly but surely it happened. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Throughout this entire weight loss phase my workouts have not changed- I’ve been following a powerlifting program (so tons of HEAVY compound movements ) eating an average of 1900 calories a day, doing steady state cardio three times a week for 20 minutes, and I’ve been getting about 10k-15k steps a day. Also to answer a commonly asked question- I hardly train abs! By improving my body composition through lots of heavy lifting, my ab definition has improved without really working them much. So my top tips for making a transformation is:⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 1. Lift hard and heavy and stick to basic compound movements! No stupid variations of things lol, the basics are going to benefit you most.⁣⁣ 2. Be patient!!! Eat to fuel your workouts (no super low calorie bs ) and focus on getting stronger and over time you will see results. Don’t under eat! If you eat and train like an athlete you will look like one. This isn’t a quick fix diet it is a lifestyle. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Ps. I couldn’t care less which one of these pics you like best, so keep your “you looked better before” opinions to yourself. “You’ll never have abs your skin will never bounce back” I remember being over 300 pounds and seeing all these women with the most amazing abs on Instagram and wishing I could be them. I let everyones words hold me back because according to them I’d be left with a bunch of loose skin. Well, I stopped wishing, started working, ignored people and here I am 170 pounds lighter with a set of abs of my own! I’m in no way saying that loose skin won’t be a problem because truth is that genetics also play a huge roll in it. Some people have more elasticity in their skin. I might have shed a couple tears after I saw these two pictures side by side. Today is the first day in a week that I’ve felt confident and halfway human. Is it a coincidence that I’ve had the last 5 days off and that’s when my motivation and self esteem plummeted? Probably not. I’m the type that needs to stay busy and moving and when I’m just a sitting duck, it starts messing with my head. There’s some things I need to figure out about that so that in the future I’m more comfortable with just being still. I think the issue is that I used to be so comfortable being still (thanks, depression ) that it got me to 360 pounds. Now when I have lazy days it takes me back to those days and all the feelings come rushing back. Stick to it, it will pay off! 🌸. -45 pounds. 1 year later. I figured since I get asked a lot about my fitness/ Life Journey I should actually post a before and after photo. The photo on the Left was after I moved to Miami and was Introduced to Miami Lifestyle (late night drinking ) and LATIN food. My dad is a chef so you know I had to TRY everything!! I slowly started gaining weight over the span of 2 years. I was MADLY in Love,working A lot, and Eating irregularly. ⚡️•Lets go back to the Start• (I've had set backs, like everyone ) I was finally diagnosed in 2010 after YEARS of stomach pains and miss diagnoses. I was allergic to Gluten, Dairy, Eggs, and Soy. At the time I was about to Start College Softball and I was Always in Pain. After going to a Holistic Doctor that told me change my Diet to more Raw, Healthy foods. After years of YO-Yoing with my weight and my emotions I got sick of it, literally. I think my body started to reject more foods, and ALCOHOL, so I wanted to see how my body would feel closer to Mother Nature. I started juicing (Not as a meal replacement, but to get more vitamins ) ALOt of fruits and Veggies, Snacks and Fish. I get hungry if I don't eat, but after a while you're metabolism speeds up and you just Need food. I WAS Never like that. Haha •Hiking, and at home workouts are my jam! I hate people starring at me at the gym, Pump some Iron and stare at yourself in the mirror. •So after years of weight struggle in middle school and highschool I have seriously accepted that You have to do what is right for YOUR MIND, BODY, and and SOUL! If people are telling you you are to Fat, skinny, Short, Tall = Fuck them! They are NOT in your head at the end of the day.....You are, you have to be ok with yourself and your thoughts when you attempt to sleep at night!!! I'm learning that, and I'm trying to grow too!! •If you knew how powerful your Negative thoughts were, you would Try to never think like that again. Thanks for letting me be honest and vulnerable, I want girls, people to be honest and ok with themselves. . . 👌 @rachelringwood 😍😚

new-keep it simple🥑🥦 . one of the many problems in society is that things get complicated. some make a rocket science from the topic of nutritional/. and that's it just absolutely not 🤯. . i receive daily messages whether rice or carbs, whey or a protein-rich diet as well as sweet stuff makes . which foods are good to lose and what special tricks there are sorry to say that, but there is no such thing. there are no good or bad foods but a healthy or unhealthy lifestyle. . also to the question: "how did you manage this?
