PLEASE READ: Do smaller meals eaten frequently actually speed up your metabolism? . We have been taught this over the years by many fitness gurus and experts that this is correct. However, the answer is actually no! . In fact, meal frequency has no effect on your metabolism WHATSOEVER and can actually train your body to always be hungry! . When we eat a hormone is secreted called leptin.  Leptin is what we call the “hunger hormone” which tells our body when we have had enough food through signaling our brain once ample amounts have been released. . Everything you do doesn’t need to be seen or heard. Weekend sessions are my favorite because the gyms are literally empty! At least at the small town gyms on the east coast! . Who’s getting after it today? Sorry I’ve been silent for a little, this move went not as planned at all! Movers came 2 days early 😳 Last minute flight was cancelled so i had to rent a huge SUV and drive. My father just had emergency spinal surgery so it wasn’t the best since he was in pain the whole trip. It took us 3 days, one day we drove straight through for 24 hours, we hit a tornado in Ohio which was the scariest experience ever! We had stopped at a rest stop and people started yelling for us to take shelter. My father looked at me and said what do you want to do? I said let’s drive anyone who stays behind doesn’t make it. Ever hear a tornado siren😳 . Two weeks being home and we all are adjusting slowly but we are so happy to be back! It’s so amazing to see the change of energy in just the animals alone. Even Chloe is more vocal, and energetic. The air back here in CT is so clean, the water tastes amazing and the back roads as much as they are semi scary with no lights and little room on the sides there’s so much peace. . I haven’t been able to train in a few weeks and it’s been a good mental break moving across the country or moving at all is never easy! I will say with all the manual work I’ve been doing and staying mobile I haven’t gained any weight and I’m actually leaning up.

From 2015-2016 I moved from CT to NJ to CT to CA all within a span of 6 months or so. From 2016-2019 I lived in California where I got comfortable, slacked, lost my job, rebuilt myself back up from zero. Dug deeper into my faith, got baptized, actively took courses for a full year, joined a life group, was apart of two ministries, volunteered at a shelter. Strived in a state across the country from my whole support system. Had my heart broken, invested into a company that failed actually two companies! Could I have done some things differently? Yes! But I would tell you that I would do it all over again. I’m physically in my weakest space ever in my life aesthetic wise with the emotional setbacks. But I’m currently stronger emotionally, and spiritually which will only make the training part easier when I’m back in a balanced but slightly uncomfortable atmosphere. Change is good and sometimes needed to discover true potential or even wake you up to realize what you truly value in life here as we walk this earth. I’m actually excited to finally be back in my home town. Still not fully emotionally sure on how I feel except that since it’s only been a few days. To complete or not? My movers come in 7 days, my brothers fiancé is dropping off her things from AZ in 6, my car gets shipped in 9 and I’m hopping on a Jet in 10 days! I’m prepping to compete but my training and sleep hasn’t been 100%. I think once I’m home and in a much comfortable state I will be balls to the wall. I’m deciding in July if I’m stepping on stage so I have a month to prove it to myself. . What color suit and gown should I go with this year??? Also any gown brands you ladies love? REALITY VS FACETUNE: PLEASE READ Shit this is going to be extremely controversial and I hope my message comes off properly. If you didn’t notice the obvious, let’s just point out my glutes compared to the original photo on the left. There’s this app called Facetune which I’m simi familiar with but absolutely awful at utilizing. So, I had a friend of mine who helps me lighten my photos and get rid of an occasional breakout. He’s so good at this just like all of these IG stars, that you can’t even tell the image was altered slightly from a background wave. I’m extremely open about my own insecurities and even just in the photo alone I notice a vein and small imperfections on my legs that I would most likely smooth out. Thing is none of us are perfect and our insecurities are reasons for us to want to improve and become better versions. The huge issue though is individuals who are tying to take peoples money and saying they worked hard for something they didn’t even work for. These individuals have so many hidden insecurities that the approval on social media is so fulfilling that the rise becomes addictive. They will do anything for likes and comments which aren’t even fulfilling but for that brief moment they are on a high. And the bank account is moving. I will openly admit to my boobs being done, lip injections and botox which I’ve shared with you all. All things you can’t improve from training in the gym, unless I were to eat some pineapple which I’m allergic too haha. Fat 👄 If you have followed me for awhile you will remember I had vein therapy because it was actually a huge health issue. They thought I had blocked veins which I had to spend standing for 2-3 hours getting ultrasound. Over the past 3-4 years a few have popped back up again which I think are so ugly. Perks of being a gymnast and pounding hard on my legs oh and genetics. I’m all for improvement in any form if it helps make an individual happy and more comfortable in their own skin! Anxiety of posting. I literally just sat here for an hour trying to write a caption that I’m just going to ask you guys for help! I was going to post about coaching and summer being right around the corner and that I’m doing monthly giveaways. Oh and that I have client openings actually for the month of June! Then I was going to talk about anxiety of wearing a bikini around others you aren’t familiar with. Or how about some inspiration to get you to commit to a program detailed for you rather than a fad diet 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️or that I’m moving in a couple days and how I’m managing to balance a business, and prepare for a cross country move with 2 pups and a cat, by myself! Strong is sexy @lacikaysomers 💛💪🏼 Tag a swole bestie or mate! Oh and read my post 🙏🏼 before you judge! . Ive been hesitant on posting this video because it’s simi sexual. Maybe it’s the angles or is it because I’m rocking shorts! But what’s the difference in girls working out in their bikinis on the beach or posing in one let alone in a thong. If I actually cared what people thought I would haven’t gotten off this app a long time ago. . I see so many females doing collabs together. But at the end of the day most not all but most of them are doing it to gain attraction from each other’s pages. I’ve meet countless girls who have big followings who will comment on my photos as if we are super close. But then when we meet in person they are stuck up as f*ck! I get it people can be shy but I have a pretty good read on people. I’ve also had the most amazing experiences too. I’ve met girls that I have lifetime friendships with now! We genuinely support, love and follow one another! . I had a freaking blast filming this video with @lacikaysomers who is truly a bestie to me! Love and support her and she is one of the most loyal, genuine, giving and honest friends I’ve met in a long ass time! . So with this said I can look strong as shit and do all these flips, lift heavy and just be human at times too!

Last nights pass got me thinking about an important but valuable lesson. It’s so hard for us to break habits, reverse direction but with time, continued practice, and small progressions we soon will overcome. I wouldn’t even attempt a back tuck back tuck a few weeks ago! Let alone throw in a front tuck front tuck out of a handstand! Baby steps, I slowed the movement down, controlled my form and let go of the possibilities of failure and trusted myself. All things we need to do when approaching bad habits, set backs, and goals within our everyday life! Still not a full success but doesn’t mean that’s not in store for me next week! Put yourself out there and let me know if you have given up on something before continued practice? I know I have but what that showed me is that I just want the change or goal that bad enough 🤷🏻‍♀️ Song The London by Young Thug

PLEASE READ:💛 . I’m sorry but these videos are too fun not to post. . But the real reason why I have the strength and mobility to continue to do these skills after 11 years ago next month, is because I decided to fully invest into the bodybuilding industry. I had graduated college as an ncaa athlete and completely lost my identity since gymnastics was no longer a part of my life. Feeling lost, gaining weight, losing my gymnast body, I was determined to learn more about how nutrition, and weight training could overall improve my well being. I’ve dedicated my life to health and wellness. Helping others as a coach is a great joy. . This lifestyle of leading a fit life doesn’t have to be miserable and it needs to be balanced! As a coach my main goal is to educate and provide my clients with as much knowledge so they can continue on a journey without roller coasting. A coach should never force a client into a diet fad, and set a limitation on a transformation for a short period of time. Metabolic restoration is required to continue to keep progressing as the years go on. So with that said it is important for a coach to continue to reinvent the wheel and grow with the studies and new ways of how to approach a better living. What works is finding something that a client enjoys while structuring in balance and education! Small example 3 meals a day back to the basics. No one has time to eat 5-6 meals a day, pack containers, have no social life, and consistently teach your brain to always be hungry! 🤷🏻‍♀️ . The goals are endless as long as you have the mental capacity to continue to keep showing up and grind for what you would like to change! . Prepping for Worlds this year in the Bahamas. Excited to get back to the east coast and grind out. This is an older video from last years prep. Currently I’m at 1915 calories| 250 g of carbs, 115 g protein, 55 g of fats and on my deload week. Hitting 1000 caloric burn for cardio and my training program let’s just say I’m hating life.
